Hello, I’m Virginia an independent advisor with 20 years of expertise in fixing my own & friends’ PC problems.Īre you using the Logitech software if required - SetPoint/Logitech options & Unifying receiver software? The gamepad itself is in good shape and it doesnt make a difference what mode I use, Dinput or Xinput. I'm having the same problem as when I first upgraded to Win10. Since then, the original hard drive that the operating system was on, crashed, and instead of reinstalling the Dell recovery version, I bought an OEM Windows 10 Home, (already containing the Fall Update) that I installed

This worked until the Windows 10 fall creators update, when the same thing happened as when I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7. I've followed Logitech's advice many times: pulling out the gamepads wireless usb receiver, taking one of the batteries out of the gamepad, reconnecting the usb receiver, then within 15 seconds replacing the battery. Program that had me do the following: (from my original post) The only program I could find was a small I went to the Logitech website and although there wasn't, nor still is, any updated win10 driver. The problem originally started when I upgraded my desktop's Win7 to Win10.
LOGITECH F710 WINDOWS 10 NOT DETECTED DRIVERS
So, yeah! Go ahead and spend more dosh on another game pad, but if youĬan't be bothered sorting out the drivers make sure you buy an MS XBOX controller this time.] [EDIT 3: Suggestions fell on deaf ears I guess. ( For the LGS software look in > 'Show all downloads' > Win10 & scroll down to and download the When in XInput mode the F710 will show as an XBOX controller in XBOX Peripherals Note that you should see several references to the F710 in theĭevice Manager if you have also installed the LGS-510 software for use with the DInput mode, and have the controller switched to DInput.

I may have installed the driver, and then used Device Manager to locate it (or the component parts) an 'install' it again ?
LOGITECH F710 WINDOWS 10 NOT DETECTED INSTALL
Basically, I had to get access the driverįor some reason Windows does not pick up the driver if you install it directly from the installer. [EDIT 2: The steps I outlined below are the same as the 'fix' in Time Ladys' link

Mfg's since they got developers to make their XBOX controller the default in all games some years ago). I believe MS's XBOX driver for wireless controllers was involved too (MS have been making life difficult for other controller I remember jumping through the same hoops you have, when trying an F710
